Letter of Inquiry

Deadline to submit the Letter of Inquiry:  October 14, 2016 by 5pm Extended to October 21, 2016 by 5pm

IMPORTANT – Letters of Inquiry are not grant proposals. They are strictly for preliminary information-gathering purposes. Submitting a Letter of Inquiry does not guarantee formal consideration for funding.

Eligibility

  • Organizations must be located and provide services in Cumberland County, North Carolina.
  • Organizations must qualify as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or be classified as a unit of government.
  • Organizations must not discriminate on the basis of age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, physical ability, sexual orientation, political affiliation or religious belief nor be a religious organization that serves exclusively sectarian purposes.
  • Organizations must have met all reporting requirements on previous funding to be eligible for future funding. For those organizations with active grants who are invited to submit a full proposal, a final or interim report must be submitted with a full grant proposal to be considered for funding.
  • Organizations are required to attend a grant workshop in 2016 if a workshop has not been attended within the past two (2) years. The workshop is Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:30am. Call Susan Barnes at CCF, 910-483-4449, to RSVP.

  • Organizations for re-granting purposes
  • Travel and conferences
  • Individuals
  • Projects promoting religious or political views
