How it Works
There are two (2) types of membership:
Regular member: This member is asked to pledge an annual commitment of $550 for a minimum of three years. The $550 annual gift is used as follows: $400 is immediately placed in the grant-making fund; $100 is place in the endowment; and $50 is added to the circle’s operating expense fund. After the three (3) year commitment, we invite members to continue paying their dues annually to support the grantmaking and work of the Women’s Giving Circle.
Junior member: To qualify for this membership the following must apply –
- Must be age 18 – 35 to qualify
- $275 annual dues: $250 in the grant-making fund, $25 in the endowment
- Active committee participation required for this membership level
The Women’s Giving Circle has five (5) committees that any member can elect to join: Evaluation, Events, Grants, Marketing, and Membership. All members are invited to be as involved as they wish; we have no member participation requirements or time constraints. Every member votes on proposed grants.
