giving circles

In 2007, Cumberland Community Foundation received a grant from NCGives to expand outreach to givers of time, talent, and treasure through giving circles and to inform givers through community knowledge.  http://www.ncgives.org/content/page/id/20

With this grant, two giving circles were started.  Each circle has a different mission.  You can follow the links to each area on our website to learn more about the exciting opportunities each giving circle brings to our area.

E.E. Smith Academic Excellence Giving Circle is a vehicle to promote excellence in E.E. Smith attendance area schools and to provide philanthropic support to improve math and science programs for these schools.
