Cumberland Community Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations in order to improve the quality and spirit of community life.

Some donors restrict or direct their support to certain designated causes (through their Designated Endowments and Donor Advised Funds). Other donors leave it up to Cumberland Community Foundation to decide which projects will produce the best results for our community (through their Community Funds, often named for the donor or loved one). We are happy to serve all donors and help them achieve their charitable goals.

Strategic planning is underway at Cumberland Community Foundation. The next grant application deadline will be set after completion of this planning and adoption of the plan by the board at its November meeting. In the meantime, please attend the Grantseeker Information Meeting for general information about Cumberland Community Foundation and an overview of the funding available.
