Field-of-Interest Grants Available Quarterly
Generous community-minded donors establish broad "field-of-interest" endowments to support favorite causes. These donors leave it up to Cumberland Community Foundation to support the best opportunities and greatest needs of the community as they change over the years.
Grants are available quarterly to 501(c)3 public charities with the principal office in Cumberland County, NC or qualified units of government in Cumberland County, NC (such as Parks & Rec). Applicants must be in good standing with the Secretary of State of NC, the IRS, and Cumberland Community Foundation.
CCF hosts Grantseeker Information Meetings to address any questions. Attendance is recommended. CLICK HERE to register.

- Arts – programs that increase access to art and art enrichment.
- Children – programs that improve the quality of life for children with priority for programs that seek to reduce child hunger.
- Education – programs that increase educational outcomes with priority for programs that increase children’s access to art and educational enrichment activities.
- Women & Girls – programs that improve the life circumstances of women and girls through long-term, transformative change.
- Youth – programs that improve the quality of life for youth, specifically in regards to leadership or mental health.
September 2026: This grant cycle is currently closed. Application available September 1-30.
- Healthcare – programs that increase access to quality health care and health care education
- Seniors – programs that improve the quality of life of senior citizens
