Field-of-Interest Grants Schedule
Generous community-minded donors establish broad "field-of-interest" endowments to support favorite causes. These donors leave it up to Cumberland Community Foundation to support the best opportunities and greatest needs of the community as they change over the years.
Grants are available quarterly to 501(c)3 public charities with the principal office in Cumberland County, NC or qualified units of government in Cumberland County, NC (such as Parks & Rec). Applicants must be in good standing with the Secretary of State of NC, the IRS, and Cumberland Community Foundation.
CCF hosts Grantseeker Information Meetings to address any questions. Attendance is recommended. CLICK HERE to register.
Schedule of Opportunities
Summer 2026: Applications available July 1-31
Funding is available for programs that:
- Increase children's access to food
- Implement evidence based programs that reduce absenteeism, increase children's reading proficiency, and/or increase children's math proficiency
- Provide children with visual art experiences
- Provide leadership programming for youth
- Offer STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) projects in public schools
